Approved by
Developed by a teenage mental health charity, the Combined Minds app helps families and friends to support young people with their mental wellbeing.
How could it help me?
When a child or young person has a diagnosed mental health condition, families and friends want to support them in the best way but also know when to step back.
What do people say about it?
A great app for parents and friends to support a young person who is struggling with mental health – Apple Store user
Amazing app. Super well made and easy to use. The only issue is how it only covers specific topics - excluding other common disorders like Borderline Personality Disorder, Bipolar, Aspergers, etc – Google Playstore user
Where can I get it?
You can download Combined Minds from the App Store or Google Play
Uses a 'Strengths-Based' approach that has been shown to be effective in recovery
This approach focuses on the positive attributes of the person and builds on resourcefulness and resilience
Helps families and friends to search for their own strengths.
Please note, the app is an aid in treatment but does not replace it. It should not be used by families/parent/guardians or friends who have a child/loved one or friend with complex mental health needs or neurodevelopment problems + mental health (e.g. Autism/Asperger’s/ADHD)
